Building project coming up?

I recently employed the services of Robert’s company for two projects; one for the refurbishment of my conservatory as well as a complete renewal of the bathroom. Robert, having surveyed both projects commenced work, first on the conservatory whereupon, his professionalism soon became apparent. The conservatory was quickly restored to a like new condition, with the additional heating and lighting he suggested making it a modern and delightful room to enjoy for all seasons. The bathroom project, which included the rerouting a soil pipe, has resulted in an amazing transformation, which once again demonstrated Roberts skills, where everything requested “was not a problem”. I would not hesitate in recommending Robert’s company to undertake any home improvements both interior or exterior, safe in the knowledge that his professionalism and skills are second to none.

Having seen Robert’s work at a friend's house a number of years ago, he has been our first choice whenever we have needed work doing on our house. He has completed a range of different work for us, including renovations, fitting a new porch, fitting a new shower, painting (both interior and exterior), tiling, electrics and plumbing work.

He is our first choice for numerous reasons, but mainly because:

• The wide variety of work he can competently complete;
• The quality of his work is exemplary;
• We trust him implicitly – not only with providing good advice when we are not sure what the right solution is; but also to leave him to work on our house when we are not there
• His flexibility, always willing to work with us to find the right time and date to carry out a job

We cannot recommend Robert highly enough for any work you need doing.

We bought a stable/coach house 3 years ago that's over 500 years old and hadn't been modernised in over 40 years. As we assembled the team we needed to refurbish/convert the property a neighbour suggested Robert as he'd been very happy with the work Robert had done for him. We have now almost completed the work and Robert is still with us - we have found his skills, integrity and attention to detail to be exceptional and would not hesitate to recommend him.

Robert and his team did a professional and superb job renovating my flat with excellent workmanship, and my new kitchen/bathroom and downstairs look fantastic. Robert was always there to offer ideas, help and advise and I would definitely use his company again for future projects.

I have a 150 yr old cottage which was in need of remedial work to deal with damp walls, blown render and the installation of new flooring etc. A friend had recommended Robert and having viewed a project that he had previously worked on we decided to use him. I am glad that we did so as the quality of work carried out was exceptional. I am very happy to recommend him and would have no hesitation in using him again.

RT Builders designed and fitted my new kitchen in 2017. The whole process was very efficient and a high end finish was achieved. I was very happy with the standard of their work along with their aftercare service.

I instructed Rob to take on the task of creating an in & out drive for me. At all times Rob was informative & gave advice & guidance on aspects of the job. His team he has working for him are reliable & knowledgeable. The drive was completed on time & on budget & I couldn’t recommend Rob enough to others who require his knowledge on a building project.

Rob was recommended to me by a close friend as he had fitted their electric gate. It proved to be one of the best recommendations I have received. At the outset, Rob clearly explained the process and the cost. Despite the job being particularly difficult in that the existing driveway was uneven and had to be dug up and relaid, the job was completed on time and on budget. The end result surpassed my expectations and I’m truly delighted with the gate. I would wholeheartedly recommend Rob and his team.

Robert has carried out various building jobs for us for over 10 years. He and his team are professional, reliable and hard working and I trust him absolutely.

Robert first came to our house for the making good part of an air conditioning installation. He was extremely competent and conscientious and the house looked superb when he had finished. Based on that and his portfolio we asked Robert to renovate three old fashioned bathrooms into modern wet rooms complete with digital showers, underfloor heating and mechanical heat recovery/ventilation. These bathrooms have been completed to an amazing specification with Robert's trademark attention to detail. Even though unexpected issues arose, like rerouting waste pipes, installing insulation, and even retrofitting structural steel (with engineering help), nothing perturbs Robert or is beyond his expertise.

Since then Robert has installed our solar PV panels and will shortly be installing solar thermal panels. He has an excellent knowledge of domestic renewables, and as the home owners, it's great to know the job will be completed to a high standard with minimum fuss. We expect to use his services again the the future for ground source heat and passivehaus renovation.
